And in 1998, I saw mustard seed flowers

in full bloom in the month of January

              near Jaipur

And I saw them yella like a crayon

And in 2011, I thought about Boxing Day in Londen-

                                                                                      town

Did St. Nicholas ever go to Italy?

And butterflies like the color yellow

And I needs a yellow box for a sweatshirt

And St. Nicholas was a bishop, wasn't he?

And we'll always need crayons I'll say

           We'll always need crayons

I lived in Singapore
durin the spring semester
of 10th grade year,

and all of 11th grade,
and all of 12th grade also.

St. Nicholas was buried in Myra,
in present-day Turkey, at his church.
Some of his relics are at a basilica in Bari, Italy.

Let justice be so beautiful here.
We need mercy so much, y'all.
The just woman needs God,
To see prudently what is just and not to judge.

I need to study history well, y'all, and
I need to study rhyme and rhythm too.

I love to engage with my community and to share my love of plays and poetry with neighbor.

From workshops to readings, I love to help God make meaningful connections and to participate in loving and living and praying to our lovely Creator God.

Let Slavery End Now,
Lord Jesus.

How do we know which principles
To support? I need to say,
I need to love small nations and large nations,
And my friends and teachers in these nations.
We need mercy so much, y'all

I love to visit the United Nations
Building in Manhattan, and I need to pray,
For talks of peace in every building and in every nation.

I need to pray for peaceful presidential transitions.

Let's pack something pequeño, we can go by foot,
Or roll with wheels, ramps so beautiful, yes
And all things in Christ, it's like yes

And the children wanted to be children and talk about monkeys,

and God please protect our children and keep them safe and so loved always.

And Deepa and Tara were such important women.

And I met a man again, who loved Ramanujan, thank God.

And I needed to be more humble, and I am so sorry for my sins, Lord.

And I thought about the effects of Western culture awn India, and I cried.

And I needed to think more about da Gospel of John.

And I wrote an email about a woman

needing true help from God.

And the woman in my dream needed an older female friend.

And I thought about poetry and building a home.

And I needed friends at an audition.

Grand Piano Strings_edited.jpg

When I was child,
my mother loved to tell me stories
about her family.

My mom's grandfather, Charles
Seibert Losh, worked so lovingly
to help build the Midmer-Losh
pipe organ in Atlantic City, and we can go,
and visit the hall and see it.

Charles had a daughter named Alberta,
and she married George Russell Vaughan
at a Catholic Church in Miami, Florida.

My grandmother, Alberta Vaughan, was a linguist,
with a graduate degree from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,
and my mother told me that Alberta worked as a secretary for some time, with Dr. Víctor Andrés Belaúnde.

George worked with metal machinery, and he loved
to think about personal memoir and political philosophy,
and I enjoy reading his writings.

George and Alberta settled in a racially integrated
neighborhood in Houston,Texas, and they shared
their dreams about Civil Rights and integration
and the United Nations, with their seven children,
who loved to sing together :)))

George and Alberta married in February of 1944,
and they moved from Florida to a home on Creston Drive,
in the neighborhood of Northside in Houston, Texas,
after George had served as a United States Marine,
in the Phillipines,
during the second world war, and let peace be here now.

Christe Eleison

My mother, Mary Agnes, was the third child born,
to George and Alberta in May of 1947,
near Creston Drive in Houston, Texas,
and she loved dolls and books and ideas too.

My mother loved to read a children's adaptation
of "A Midsummer Night's Dream,"
and shanti om peace shanti,
and she prayed,
and she became an observing young lady,
who studied English and Spanish languages
and literature at the University of Houston.

And the children prayed, and in October of 1965,
President Lyndon B. Johnson signed into law,
"The Immigration and Nationality Act,"
and my father dreamed about graduate engineering
and governing thermodynamics and love,
and he flew with one suitcase from London to Houston,
and he was an Indian citizen at the time.

Beautiful pilgrims, with lovely air particles 'o love,
let's walk hand in hand amen, and roses in our hands.

We pray for
beautiful familia :)))
